A book cover designed for Ozarks Hollow Press collection of short stories, including one about a man who loses his wife and turns to his canine companion for comfort. Dogs are prominently featured in the book, and it was requested that a dog be included in the cover image. I chose a more sedate color palette for the primary image to reflect some of the somber themes but chose and image with a more brightly colored dog and chose a text color that added a bit of brightness to the image.
