Plaque and map design
The left of this design describes how the Public Art Collection functions within the system of University Galleries. The right panel features a description of the artwork with a QR code that will eventually lead to an app including a description of the art, maps, parking information and links to other members of University Galleries. The app will be developed in a later stage of the project.
The map features both of the locations of the collection (on main campus and near the satellite location of Brick City. The map also indicates parking locations as parking is tricky due to paid lots and a downtown location for Brick City.
Promotional items
As the collection is not well-understood, several promotional items were designed with the intention of bringing attention to the collection. Initial items were a t-shirt, banner, button and sticker, but this concept could be applied to a wide variety of items.
Brand guide
Below is the brand guide created for the project. It describes the Public Art Collection, outlines color palette, typography and versions of the brandmark as well as giving guidelines for how to use the brandmark.
